Ephesians Curriculum
INSTRUCTIONS FOR CURRICULUM:
These work sheets have been successfully used in a small group setting to develop leaders and teachers. The curriculum work sheets are designed to be used as a guide in developing a Bible lesson. The idea is that working through this template will help develop patterns of thinking that will guide in the preparation of future Bible lessons.
HOW TO USE THESE WORKSHEETS:
Give everyone in the group a worksheet and then assign one person to teach the lesson the following week. Everyone is to study and use the worksheet on their own but only the assigned teacher is to lead the Bible lesson. This makes for a very dynamic time of teaching as everyone is on the same level of preparation. As the overall leader of the group you will need to be prepared for in depth discussion. Guide the participants in grasping the theology and the practical application of the theology to their lives. These work sheets can also be used individually as a guide to develop a Bible lesson.
There are two parts to each work sheet.
1. Teacher Study Notes:
This section provides background information, definitions and general context information that links the current passage to the rest of the book.
2. Presentation of a Bible Lesson:
This section provides a guide for the teacher to move the group from the start of the gathering to the study of the Bible text and finally to the application
of the lessons learned.
COPYRIGHT AGREEMENT:
These notes are free for your personal use or for use in teaching a class. You can download a copy for your personal use and reprint copies for teaching purposes. You may not change, charge for or publish these notes without specific written consent from this website and the author.
