Proverbs

AUTHOR:
There are various authors for this book. Some of the content is compiled and collected by certain authors. However, the main author is Solomon.

CONTENT:
This book is named after the Hebrew word (masal) that means resemblance. The statements in this book are then a resemblance of life that is either good or bad. The book of Proverbs provides a description of how life should be as one lives, practically using Godly wisdom.

Proverbs points out the value of human knowledge, wisdom and experience. However, this book also points out that human wisdom is limited and there is a need for Godly wisdom in life. The Godly wisdom found in morals, values, religious study and observance of God's ways actually help form or shape the wisdom needed to live life.
