Godly character qualities affect the stability of ones life

The Question: Who can be a guest of God at His tabernacle? - A spiritual question

    Abide, be a guest = Turn aside from the road for a place to stay as a guest
    Live = Permanently stay
    Moves from the temporary to the permanent

    Location - God’s not mine
        Your Sanctuary
        Your holy hill
        How often do I want to have God meet with me not me meet with Him?

Verse 2 - Actions
General Life Style that is Lived (progression: general walk to specific action and words)
    Walks with integrity, Walk is Blameless - complete full life without blemish, integrity
        Integrity = same on the outside as on the inside
    Works righteousness, Does what is Righteous - equal, even, fair, just
    Words, Speaks the truth from the heart

Verse 3 - Words
Speech and actions are under control - Self controlled
(note: general to specific relationship)
    No Slander - search and destroy with speech, backbite
        general use of the tongue
    Does His Neighbor No Wrong - evil
        relational use of the tongue
    Does not insult his friend - disgrace, expose, shame
        specific relational use of the tongue

Verse 4 - Convictions
Knows Good from Evil
    Despises a Vile Man - Looks down on sin
    Honors Those who fear the Lord
Does What He Says
    Keeps His Oath - Even when it hurts - promise made with poor judgment

Verse 5 - Money
Money Does not Control Life
    Lends Money Without Usury - does not take financial advantage of others
        see Exodus 22:25
    Does not accept a Bribe - Money that is paid to influence to do wrong

Summary - Words and deeds show obedience to God
Result of living this way: Never shaken - Secure, never moved
